Gluten-free Pizza Crust Recipe

Introducing our delicious and easy-to-make gluten-free pizza crust recipe! This recipe is perfect for those with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease, as it is made with a combination of gluten-free flours and is completely free of wheat, barley, and rye.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, almond flour, flaxseed meal, xanthan gum, salt, and sugar. Stir well to combine.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and olive oil. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes, until the mixture becomes frothy.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let sit in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet or pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  7. Roll out the dough to the desired thickness and shape, and place on the prepared baking sheet or pizza pan.
  8. Add your desired toppings and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are hot and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • To make the dough more stretchy, you can add more gluten-free flour or xanthan gum to the dough.
  • To make the crust crispier, you can cook the crust for a few minutes before adding toppings.
  • You can substitute the almond flour with other gluten-free flour like coconut flour or chickpea flour.

Enjoy your pizza!
