Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into cubes 
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free flour 
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup dry red wine 
  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped 
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped 
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped 
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme 
  • salt and pepper to taste 

Instructions: 

  1. In a large bowl, toss the stew meat with the gluten-free flour until the meat is fully coated. 
  2. Turn on the Ninja Foodi and set it to 'saute'. Add the vegetable oil and wait for it to heat up. 
  3. Add the onion and saute for about 3 minutes until it begins to soften.
  4. Add the garlic and continue to saute for another minute. 
  5. Add the coated beef to the pot and cook until it is browned on all sides. 
  6. Add the beef broth and red wine to the pot and stir well. 
  7. Add the carrots, celery, potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper. 
  8. Close the lid and set the Ninja Foodi to 'pressure cook' for 25 minutes. 
  9. Once the cooking is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes. 
  10. After 10 minutes, use the quick release valve to release the rest of the pressure. 
  11. Open the lid and stir the contents of the pot gently. 
  12. Serve the beef stew hot with your favorite gluten-free bread.
